Per il tedesco, che era alla prima annata in NBA, la stagione da rookie si è chiusa anzitempo, visto che dovrà operarsi nei prossimi giorni. Anche Marcus Smart, tornato in campo a fine febbraio dopo un periodo ai box, si è dovuto fermare nuovamente: la guardia dei Celtics ha riportato un infortunio al legamento del pollice destro e sarà fuori a tempo indeterminato.
Buone notizie invece da Kyrie Irving: nonostante il dolore al ginocchio, Boston lo considera day-to-day e il playmaker dovrebbe quindi rientrare nel giro di qualche partita al massimo.

There's confidence that Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving's left knee soreness is no more than tendonitis and that he will not need to miss significant time, league sources tell ESPN. Irving is considered day-to-day.
