Si è svolto oggi il Draft della G-League, la lega di sviluppo della NBA, che dal mese prossimo si giocherà all’interno della bolla di Orlando.
Sono stati solamente 23 i giocatori selezionati visto che a Disney World ci saranno solamente 17 squadre e che la maggior parte di esse erano già pressoché al completo. Sono principalmente giovani gli atleti selezioni, mentre sono state snobbate tante vecchie glorie che si erano dichiarate eleggibili per provare a rientrare nel mondo NBA. Fra gli snobbati spiccano due ex stelle che anagraficamente non sarebbero nemmeno troppo attempate come Lance Stephenson (30 anni) e Michael Beasley (32) ma non hanno avuto una chance neanche i vari Quincy Pondexter, Mario Chalmers, Festus Ezeli e Shabazz Muhammad. Non selezionato nemmeno il LiAngelo Ball, il secondo dei figli di LaVar.
