La portata delle proteste anti-razziste che stanno seguendo l’omicidio di George Floyd negli USA è talmente ampia da aver dato origine anche ad un movimento online, sul videogioco NBA 2K20.
La 2K Sports ha deciso di mettere in pausa la possibilità di giocare online per 2 ore nella giornata di ieri, dando gratuitamente a ogni videogiocatore magliette con le scritte “Black Lives Matter”, “Say Their Names” e “I Can’t Breathe” da poter far indossare ai propri avatar. Il risultato è stata una protesta anche all’interno del videogioco, come testimoniano numerosi video.
