Come annunciato dai Rockets, Dwight Howard si sottoporrà ad un trattamento che dovrebbe aiutarlo a recupare dall’infortunio, ma che allo stesso tempo lo terrà lontano dal campo per almeno un mese.
Saranno quindi altre 13 (almeno) le partite in cui Houston dovrà fare a meno del proprio centro titolare.

The treatment Howard underwent is a regenerative treatment, typically using bone marrow from another part of a patient’s body (hip.)

Al momento Houston è terza nella Western Conference con un record di 33-15, ma non vanta un gran distacco sulle inseguitrici: Portland e Los Angelese seguono a 33-16, mentre Dallas a 33-17.
L’assenza di Dwight non fa presagire nulla di buono per i Rockets.
