La notizia era nell’aria, ma in una conferenza stampa poco fa Bob Myers lo ha annunciato ufficialmente: lascerà i Golden State Warriors. Myers è considerato l’artefice della Dinastia, colui che dal 2011 tirava le fila della franchigia e che nel 2016 prese Kevin Durant.
“È semplicemente tempo di lasciare” ha dichiarato Myers, che nei suoi 12 anni agli Warriors ha dovuto affrontare anche diverse crisi come i difficili rapporti tra Draymond Green prima con Durant e quest’anno anche con Jordan Poole. Con lui Golden State ha vinto 4 titoli, permettendogli di venire nominato per 2 volte Executive of the Year.
